The founder of the company, Jenő Draspó, started working in a small workshop with a few people in 1972. They mainly dealt with the renovation of small main parts, subassemblies, electrical equipment, cooling fan couplings, and hydraulic cylinders. Demanding work, professional development, and accuracy made the business more successful. The product range expanded, the technology became full-scale, which was externally inspected and qualified. Such was the renovation of servo steering systems, as well as the production and repair of shock absorbers.
Taking advantage of the experience gained in the renovation, in 1989 the repair and testing of passenger cars started at a larger own site, and then the production of new products, fan clutches and water pumps for IKARUS buses.
In 1992, in recognition of its good technical and professional standards, the car service became part of the BOSCH service and parts dealer network, which further helped the development.
In 1993, the company expanded with a new location, where, with continuous investments, two 400-square-meter warehouses, two 400-square-meter production halls, a social building and an office building made it possible to fulfill the growing tasks. From 1995, the company expanded with a new product group, the first German supplier quality COHLINE hoses and connectors. From these materials, the production of IKARUS parts began, and a wholesale activity developed.
The wholesale activity became more and more extensive and gradually extended to IKARUS parts.
