Draspó Tempó

History

The founder of the company, Jenő Draspó, started working in a small workshop with a few people in 1972. They mainly dealt with the renovation of small main parts, subassemblies, electrical equipment, cooling fan couplings, and hydraulic cylinders. Demanding work, professional development, and accuracy made the business more successful. The product range expanded, the technology became full-scale, which was externally inspected and qualified. Such was the renovation of servo steering systems, as well as the production and repair of shock absorbers.

Taking advantage of the experience gained in the renovation, in 1989 the repair and testing of passenger cars started at a larger own site, and then the production of new products, fan clutches and water pumps for IKARUS buses.

In 1992, in recognition of its good technical and professional standards, the car service became part of the BOSCH service and parts dealer network, which further helped the development.

In 1993, the company expanded with a new location, where, with continuous investments, two 400-square-meter warehouses, two 400-square-meter production halls, a social building and an office building made it possible to fulfill the growing tasks. From 1995, the company expanded with a new product group, the first German supplier quality COHLINE hoses and connectors. From these materials, the production of IKARUS parts began, and a wholesale activity developed.

The wholesale activity became more and more extensive and gradually extended to IKARUS parts.

On September 1, 2000, AUTÓKER Gamma Kft., a commercial company whose main profile is the distribution of bus parts, was purchased. The company has been operating in Szigetszentmiklós since 2009 with a warehouse containing nearly 10,000 products and flexible delivery capacity.

In 2003, the activity and the number of locations were further expanded, with the power steering plant in the area of the old Csepel Car Factory in Szigetszentmiklós, which was integrated into the parent company as a division. Here, in a nearly 8,000-square-meter hall, servo steering wheels are renovated and manufactured, as well as machining of various components.

The development made it possible for Csepel Autó Kft. to be purchased in the spring of 2004. The company also operates in Szigetszentmiklós, in the area of the old Csepel Car Factory, and its main profile is sheet metal processing, pressing, stamping.

At the end of 2004 and the beginning of 2005, our company expanded with the purchase of the tools and products of Volánbusz Járműtechnika and Csonka János Járműserelvénygyártó Rt., which were integrated into the Power Steering Division. This expansion enabled the production and renovation of compressors and oil filters, as well as the renovation and repair of bus chassis, engines, and gearboxes.

In June 2006, the company group expanded further with the production and distribution of Villtesz products, the main profile of which is automotive electrical products.

The market recognition of the activities is proven by the fact that the products are installed in new vehicles by domestic and several foreign vehicle manufacturers and that the company is a prominent supplier of many transport companies (BKV, Volán).

The export activity has also been expanding, our main markets are Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Slovakia.

The companies have the necessary ISO certification.
